The glazes were masked and airbrushed in multiple layers to achieve this look. The pitcher has hand built elements added as decoration. It was fired to cone 6 in an electric kiln. Selected for 2009 NCECA Biennial Exhibition This wheel thrown pitcher has been accepted into the NCECA 2009 Clay National Biennial Exhibition at Arizona University.835 applicants submitting over 1500 works. Jurors, Chris Staley, Jeanne Quinn, and Christy Johnson diligently selected outstanding work for this showcase of contemporary ceramics, narrowing their selection down to 56 artworks by 51 artists.
